Polls show that many in America, particularly from the Millennial generation, would love to have fame and fortune and celebrity status, no matter the cost. But in the end, fame can prove deadly. So what does it say about those who still seek it? More importantly, what does it say about a society that worships the celebrity -- even the celebrity who hasn't done much by way of achievement to earn this celebrity status? America offers an enviable opportunity to achieve much, but the costs are often steep.
