The Joe Biden administration created a terrible mess in Afghanistan with a hasty, largely unstrategic, even cowardly withdrawal that left scores of Americans, American allies and Afghan innocents scrambling. Now this same administration is trying to pretend like everything went according to plan; that everything in the tribal nation is pretty much as it should be.
