One of the most common throwbacks at the faces of Christians
who call out sin is to say, "Hey, you're not supposed to judge."
But guess what: that's a bit of a skewing of biblical truths. Yes,
it's true, Christians aren't supposed to determine an individual's
final placement as heaven or hell; Christians aren't supposed to
say, for example, "May you rot in hell." But those of faith are
tasked with the responsibility for calling out evil and fighting
evil, and how can that task be accomplished if no judgments are
issued? Besides, there's this thing called discernment, and it's a
gift of the spirit that helps distinguish between good and evil.
Dan Darling, media pundit, best-selling author and teacher of
all-things-faith, joins the discussion.
